  • ($885) This beautiful 4AB Kinks texture is the coarsest texture available at Unkempt Kurls.  4AB coil pattern with low luster coils from root-to-tip. The hair resembles a coarse & voluminous Type 4B/C Afro in the undefined state. The hair must be defined with ALOT of water and Denman brush to produce tight kinky coils.   Resembles a coarse natural Type 4B/C Afro in the undefined state. 

    PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE NOT SILKY CURLS! THE CURLS MUST BE CLUMPED TOGETHER WITH A DENMAN BRUSH ON SOAKING WET HAIR. OTHERWISE, THE HAIR WILL REMAIN IN ITS NATURAL AFRO STATE.  THIS IS A SUPER HIGH MAINTENANCE CURL PATTERN!!

    TYPE | 4A/B pattern | Lace closure wig made with 2.25 bundles of 100% South East Asian Hair.   A 20 inch, 5x5 free-part lace closure was used to create a natural look (hair can be parted in the middle, on either side, or not exposed at all). Lightly bleached knots on the closure for a more realistic look. Wefts are sewn on a mesh, stretchable, dome-style cap. Depending on stock, the unit will fit a small to large size head (20-24 inch circumference).

    LENGTH | (2.25) 20 inch wefted hair (stretched); double-drawn hair (thick from root-to-tip); natural layers revealed when fluffed (slight variances per wig);

  • STYLING | We recommend wearing the hair in the natural coils state. This 4AB curl pattern can be manipulated by finger combing for a coarser look. On the other hand, a Denman Brush can be used for optimal curl definition (RINGLETSSS!) and extra voluminous look. The hair can be set in various styles. Although this hair is very versatile, flat ironing the hair is NOT recommended. Try to restrain from using hot styling tools to preserve the curl pattern. 

    LONGEVITY | When bulk hair is ventilated on lace material, there will ALWAYS be a greater chance of shedding when manipulated.  For this reason, 3.5X4/4x4/5x5 lace closures will last longer than a 13x4 lace frontal.  <Lace Frontal> A lace frontal will last 4-6 months worn without adhesive and proper maintenance.   <Lace Closure> In general, a lace closure will last 1-2 years with proper maintenance. <Bundles> This is premium quality, cuticle aligned hair, with durable wefts, than will last 1-2 years with proper maintenance. Coarse/tighter curl pattern need to be detangled with the upmost care to reduce shedding.  Please refer to my “HAIR CARE” section on the website for additional recommendations..

WIG & CAP CONSTUCTION
All units are hand-made or machine-made.  Wefts are sewn on a black, Japanese Mesh-Dome Swim Cap.  This cap is made of quality spandex material with mesh holes throughout.  There is also a thick 1.5 inch elastic band around the entire perimeter that adds stretch and security when worn.  Wig band and comb added.
