Size Guide

  • ($875) This beautiful Corkscrew Coily wig is a part of the UnKempt Koils Collection. A Type 3C coil pattern with medium-low luster coils from root-to-tip.  The curl pattern is tighter and coarser than Afro Curly .. but not as textured as Helix Coil...somewhere right in the middle!

    PLEASE NOTE: THESE CURLS MUST BE CLUMPED TOGETHER WITH A DENMAN BRUSH ON SOAKING WET HAIR. OTHERWISE, THE HAIR WILL REMAIN IN A FRIZZY/TIGHT COILY STATE. THIS IS A HIGH MAINTENANCE COIL PATTERN. This unit was originally 16 inches in length, but falls ~ 12 inches (typically collar bone length) when the curls are defined.  If you prefer more length, please see other length options

  • TYPE | 3C curl pattern | Handmade lace closure wig made with 2.15 bundles of 100% Virgin SouthEast Asian Hair steamed process for texture.   A 18 inch, 5x5 free-part lace closure was used to create a natural look (hair can be parted in the middle, on either side, or not exposed at all). Lightly bleached the knots on the closure for a more realistic look. Wefts are sewn on a mesh, stretchable, dome-style cap. Depending on stock, the unit will fit a small to large size head (20-24 inch circumference).

    LENGTH | (2.15) 16 inch bundles hair (stretched); double-drawn hair (thick from root-to-tip); lightly layered for shape (slight variances per wig)

    CURLY CUT | Layered for shape (slight variances per wig); Face framing layers; Front center layer 6-6.5 inches (stretched) / Nape About 13-16 inches in length

  • STYLING | I recommend wearing this unit in the natural tight coily state. This 3C/4A curl pattern can be manipulated by finger combing for a kinkier or extra voluminous (YEAHHH!). On the other hand, a Denman Brush can be used for optimal curl definition (RINGLETSSS!). Wig can be set in various styles (twist-outs, bantu knots, etc). Although this wig is very versatile, flat ironing the hair is NOT recommended. Try to restrain from using hot styling tools to preserve curl pattern.     LONGEVITY | This is premium quality, cuticle aligned hair, with durable wefts, than will last 1-2 years with proper maintenance. Please refer to my “HAIR CARE” section on the website for additional recommendations.

WIG & CAP CONSTUCTION
All units are hand-made or machine-made.  Wefts are sewn on a black, Japanese Mesh-Dome Swim Cap.  This cap is made of quality spandex material with mesh holes throughout.  There is also a thick 1.5 inch elastic band around the entire perimeter that adds stretch and security when worn.  Wig band and comb added.
